NAMI Illinois Consumer Council Meetings

Consumer Council Statewide Teleconference Meetings – MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

Meetings of the statewide NAMI Illinois Consumer Council occur every other month as a telephone conference.  Meetings will last no more than two (2) hours. There is no cost to consumers who call in to participate in the meetings. Please join in to give input and gain information on what is happening statewide. We are encouraging folks to gather in a single location whenever possible (such as having the local NAMI Affiliate office available) in order to keep the cost down.  A suggestion, from Mary Rottmann of NAMI Madison County, is to host a social time at their local NAMI office following the consumer council tele-meetings.         

I.        Future NAMI Illinois Consumer Council OPEN meetings will be held on the third Saturday every other month – opposite the NAMI-IL State Board of directors meeting:

a.       Saturday December 15, 2007

b.       Saturday February 16, 2008

c.       Saturday April 19, 2008 - Teleconference cancelled due to face-to-face meeting on April 26, 2008 in Springfield

d.       Saturday June 21, 2008

e.       Saturday August 16, 2008

f.        Saturday October 18, 2008: NAMI Illinois Consumer Council Annual Meeting and Executive Committee officer elections to be held at the NAMI Illinois Conference in Lisle, IL.
